Getting involved in this month’s Breast Cancer Awareness focus, Jennifer Aniston toured the Inova Alexandria Hospital at Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia on Monday (October 3).

The former “Friends” actress joined Jill Biden, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and producer Kristin Hahn during the visit to the medical complex’s Breast Care Center.

The hospital visit comes as VP Joe Biden’s wife, Jill, is scheduled to speak later in the evening at a screening of the Lifetime original production “Five” – a special in which Miss Aniston directed one of the five short films comprising the offering.

“Five” details the impact of breast cancer on people’s lives – with the debut air date set for October 10th.

Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend Justin Theroux have taken the plunge – the pair have officially moved in together, a source tells PEOPLE.

“They decided to rent a house together while they keep searching for the perfect [one] to buy,” says the source. “Jen and Justin are very excited about living together in their new home.”

As PEOPLE reported in July, the couple have been house-hunting for a while, but decided to settle into a two-bedroom rental in the Hollywood Hills until they find a permanent haven.

Aniston, 42, moved out of her Beverly Hills spread in July after deciding the home was “too much” for her and it was time to “simplify.” It sold for $38 million.

Since returning from a romantic Hawaiian getaway, the couple has been enjoying time together with friends. On Aug. 24, Aniston and Theroux, 40, shared a long dinner with George Lopez at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, and a source tells PEOPLE the couple looked comfortable – and affectionate – together.

“She and Justin looked very happy together,” says the source, “and even kissed at the table.”

Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux hit up Christie’s Artists for Haiti auction in New York on Friday night and they didn’t go home empty-handed. The couple stepped up for the cause and won a spendy painting for a whopping $450,000.

Theroux did the bidding on the 6-foot Glenn Ligon abstract titled “Stranger #44,” while Aniston clapped enthusiastically after the win, reports US magazine. With the painting valued at just $150,000 to $200,000, the purchase was also a hefty donation.

Ben Stiller’s Stiller Foundation, in partnership with Zwirner, organized the fundraiser to help the people of Haiti. Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn and others joined Stiller and friends at Almond restaurant for the benefit dinner, raising $14 million for the cause, according to Reuters.

Artists Jeff Koons, Jasper Johns and Chuck Close teamed up for the Artists for Haiti event, many creating pieces specifically for the auction. Marlene Dumas’ “My mother before she became my mother” was the top seller at $2 million.
