JENNIFER Aniston has tamed Hollywood wild man Gerard Butler – she’s got him to give up his beloved booze and fags.
Jen, 40, had her personal yoga teacher Mandy Ingber put Gerard, also 40, on a hardcore detox programme called The Master Cleanse.
It involves cutting out almost everything except raw juices, coconut water and small portions of brown rice for seven days.
A source close to the Scottish hunk said: “Until he met Jen, Gerry would never go more than a couple of days without red meat, coffee, cigs and alcohol.
“He found the diet tough but had to admit that after a week he felt amazing.
“He’s into green tea with honey and keeps banging on about how great his skin looks.”
In the past Gerard has tried hypnotism, nicotine patches and even laser treatment to quit smoking.
Now he’s joined celebrity fans of the regime, who include Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyoncé, Madonna, Salma Hayek and Gisele.
Gerry and Jen have been cuddling up to each other on red carpets in London, Paris, Berlin and Madrid as they promote their new movie The Bounty Hunter.
But they refuse to confirm whether they are dating.

Where do people come up with this stuff.LOL First of all Gerard Butler hasn’t had a drink in over 12 years and stopped smoking over 2 years ago, The only true statement in this article was that Mr. Butler said in an interview that he was doing a “cleanse” to help him loose weight for his next role.

He reportedly cut his Bounty Hunter Promotional tour in Europe short to fly back to France to date some TV reporter and was seen holding hands and walking around and having dinner? I wouldnt say Jen and Gerry were an item. If they are whats up? You never hear or see Jen with any man. What up with this?
I think they’re a couple but after the last few years of people knowing who she is dating and having intense media scrutiny on every single relationship, she has now decided to keep everything quiet. Come on people do you think she’d let some random guy she’s making a movie with grab her like that. No Gerard is her man for now. The TV reporter thing is just to throw off the media scent. They’ve probably been dating since The Bounty Hunter started filming last year. Remember TMZ has pictures of him with his hand on her behind back then too. She was wearing a lovely aquamarine top and a white shorts.
