Is Jennifer Aniston Really Coming To Cougar Town? Show Boss Sets The Record Straight

300.JenniferAniston.tg .073010 150x150 Is Jennifer Aniston Really Coming to Cougar Town? Show Boss Sets the Record Straight It’s a Monica and Rachel reunion. Whoo!

With all the Friends TV news this week (here and here), you fans were just a wee bit excited to read the report that Jennifer Aniston is nearing a deal to join Courteney Cox on Cougar Town early in the coming season.

So is it true? We just talked to Cougar executive producer Bill Lawrence and he says:

“Nothing’s happened yet,” Bill says. “I’d kill to get Jennifer on the show, and if I had any inclination it was happening, I would be telling everybody ’cause I don’t really give a sh-t. I would love it to happen and the second it did I would tell everybody in the world, but nothing’s happened.”

“By the nature of Jennifer and Courteney’s friendship,” Lawrence continues, “they’re gonna have to answer questions about that forever and ever…But the reality is Jennifer Aniston I think does anywhere from 70 to 80 movies a year. She works a lot, so it’s tough to make that stuff work. But I’d love it to happen.”

As for the ridiculousness that went down at the TCA Press Tour today, where a reporter asked Matthew Perry, essentially, why David Schwimmer isn’t as “successful” as the rest of the cast, Lawrence—who used to write for Friends—was quick to jump to David’s defense:

“That’s such a fabrication. I know all those guys. I used to work on that show. How come David Schwimmer directing feature films and directing plays and producing stuff is considered not as good, when the reality is he can do any f–king show he wanted to do?! All he has to ask. If he wanted to do a show, he’d do it in a heartbeat.”

Cougar Town – Aniston And Cox Posed To Reunite

(Let’s hope this is finally the truth!!)

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox 240 150x150 Cougar Town Aniston and Cox Posed to Reunite Courteney Cox is cooking up something bigger than a title change to lure viewers to the undiscovered gem that is her ABC comedy Cougar Town: Jennifer Aniston!

After a year’s worth of will-she-or-won’t-she speculation, Aniston is nearing a deal to reunite with her former Friends costar (and real-life BFF) in an early episode of the show’s second season (premiering on Sept. 22), sources confirm to me exclusively.

ABC declined to comment, while Cougar Town executive producer Bill Lawrence would only say, “I would love for it to happen but there’s nothing to talk about yet.”

This would mark only the second time the pair have worked together on a scripted series since Friends went off the air in 2004. Their first reunion was in 2007, when they reteamed for an episode of Cox’s FX dramedy Dirt.

Cox’s other female Friend, Lisa Kudrow, guest-starred as an angry dermatologist during the show’s first season. There’s no word on who Aniston would be playing.

Photoshoot Updates!

I’ve updated a few of albums in the 2006 photoshoot section. Although some of these photos are from the same set, I tried to separate them by how they were published in the magazine. However; since Jennifer was featured in numerous international magazines, this was difficult.

The biggest update is from the November, 2007 issue of Harper’s Bazaar. I’ve added over 100 photos that weren’t used for the publication. There are some beautiful photos, too!

If you see duplicates, it’s because I updated the album with a photo that was larger/better quality or to replace the ones with the agency tag in the center of the photo.

I hope you enjoy the photos!

Old Spice Guy Lands Movie Role With Jennifer Aniston

Just when we thought we couldn’t be any more jealous of Jennifer Aniston’s fantastic life, along comes the news that she’ll soon be acting opposite the Old Spice Guy, a.k.a. the man of our dreams.

Isaiah Mustafa, who shot to fame with his manly Old Spice commercials, has been cast in Horrible Bosses, starring Aniston and Jason Bateman. It’s a small role, Mustafa told the Hollywood Reporter, but the delectable actor has proven he can do a lot with only a little bit of screen time.

“Who wouldn’t want to be in one of these funny, irreverent comedies?” Mustafa said. “The cast is great. I’m playing a cop because I play these authoritative characters well. I don’t know exactly who I’m in the scene with — maybe Jennifer Aniston!”

The Emmy-nominated commercials also helped Mustafa land a talent agreement with NBC last month, and now it’s been announced the 36-year-old will appear on the fourth season of Chuck.

“I’m going to be filming an episode of Chuck next week. I don’t know how many episodes yet, but I do know I’m playing an official CIA guy (named Greta). The character is pretty goofy, so it’s going to be fun,” he said, adding he’d also love to join Saturday Night Live.

If you’re hoping for some more macho, hysterical Old Spice ads, Mustafa said no other commercials are planned — but, since he signed on to be the brand’s spokesman for a year, the company has a few more months to change its mind.
