Still hoping for a certain sextet to get back together for lattes, love and laughs at Central Perk?

The wait for a Friends reunion, sadly, might be forever.

Castmate Lisa Kudrow — a.k.a. Phoebe — broke the news to Usmagazine.com that “it doesn’t look like” a reunion for the blockbuster NBC sitcom will ever happen.

“Everyone is busy!” Kudrow explained at Sunday’s P.S. Arts Express Yourself event in Santa Monica, Calif.

The biggest objectors, Kudrow suggests, aren’t Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox or any of the actors, but the show’s original writer-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane. ” I guess they don’t think it’s a good idea,” she said.
Not that Kudrow, 46, is completely sold, either: “It would be fun, but I don’t know. How? Why? Really?”

The highly-rated series — its six regulars ended up making $1 million per episode by the finale — ran from 1994 to 2004.

The next best thing to an all-out reunion is a Phoebe-Monica rematch: Kudrow recently shot an episode of Cougar Town, Cox’s current ABC hit. “That was really fun!” Kudrow told Us. “God, Courteney is fantastic! She is so funny. I had such a fun time.”

Although Jennifer Aniston has yet to sign up for a Cougar Town appearance, she’s slated to star in a similarly titled film, Pumas, Variety reported over the summer.

Continuing along with her relaxing Mexican getaway, Jennifer Aniston was spotted out for a sunbathing excursion in Cabo San Lucas on Friday afternoon (November 13).

Clad in a sexy two-piece swimsuit, the “Marley & Me” actress was joined by a gal pal as local tour guides escorted the pair around the sandy shorelines by golf cart before finding the perfect perch.

The vacation comes as Miss Aniston once again finds herself pitted against Angelina Jolie in tabloid fodder – thanks to a new tell-all Brangelina book written by Ian Halperin.

Quoting from “The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,” the book tells that Jolie planted stories against the former “Friends” star in a smear campaign, including one telling that Jen put her career ahead of having children with Brad Pitt.

Of the decision to do so, Halperin alleges that Jolie “was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing b**ch.”

Treating herself to some much-needed time off, Jennifer Aniston was spotted sunbathing off of the beach in Mexico yesterday (November 12).
The former “Friends” hottie looked to be enjoying her relaxing afternoon, though she seemed nervous about the nearby paparazzi as she fidgeted with her bikini top with numerous security staffers on-hand.

In related news, Star magazine is reporting that Miss Aniston has been known to play mind games with her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s lady Angelina Jolie.

A source told the tabloid, “Jen and Angie despise each other and take great pleasure in seeing each other squirm. Among the tricks Angie plays are finding from designers what dress Jennifer wants to wear on the red carpet — then going out to grab it for herself. Jen likes to make late night calls to Brad when he’s in France — conveniently forgetting the time difference so she will wake her nemesis in the early hours.”

Looks like Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper will be getting together again — on-screen, with ‘Mad Men’ creator Matthew Weiner playing Cupid.

Variety reports that Weiner plans to make his movie directing debut with romantic comedy ‘You Are Here’. The film would star Aniston and Cooper (who were reportedly dating for about 47 minutes this summer), as well as Cooper’s ‘The Hangover’ costar, Zach Galifianakis.

Weiner, who wrote the screenplay back when he was a staff writer on ‘The Sopranos,’ had hoped to shoot the film during the current hiatus on ‘Mad Men’ (the season 3 finale of the Emmy-winning AMC drama aired Sunday.) Unfortunately, the scheduling demands for season 4 are forcing him to postpone the project until 2011. (‘Mad Men’ exec producer Scott Hornbacher is also a producer on ‘You Are Here.’)

It’s a measure of the prestige Weiner now commands in Hollywood that the three stars plan to juggle their schedules to accommodate the delay.

Weiner’s deal with ‘Mad Men’ production company Lionsgate also includes a commitment to a feature film for Weiner to write and direct, a movie separate from ‘You Are Here.’ Variety reports that he’s ‘just starting to kick around’ ideas for that project.

Do we smell a Grammy? Jennifer Aniston sings!

The 40-year-old actress made a surprise appearance at Monday’s 24 Hour Plays event in New York City — and took to the stage to offer a rendition of The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” for the crowd, which included Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Naomi Watts, Brooke Shields and Rosie Perez.

Aniston and her 24-Hour Play mates worked together to write, direct and perform six 10-minute plays in less than one day. Added pressure for Aniston? She didn’t get to see her script until 12 hours before the show started! Proceeds from the sold-out charity event benefited Urban Arts Partnership, which raises money for school arts programs.

The actress celebrated her accomplishment after the final curtain call with Kutcher and Moore at an after-party at New York City’s Crest Lounge’s Opera Ballroom.

The 24-Hour Plays also served as a primer for Aniston’s upcoming role in The Goree Girls, where she’ll sing and play the dobro guitar.

The drama — a departure for Aniston, who normally stars in romantic comedies — is based on a true-life story about a group of women imprisoned in Texas who start a country and western band. Director Michael Sucsy says he’ll cast real-life musicians alongside the actress.

Aniston — who is also producing the movie (out next year) — last sang while guest starring on 30 Rock, where she serenaded Alec Baldwin for his birthday.
