The “Bounty” actress was spotted buying herself a $3,000 Celestron telescope, with a source telling, “Jennifer is always looking for ways to expand her horizons, and this is her new hobby.”

And it sounds like the star has already begun gazing at the stars. “She’s already been showing off her new toy to friends — she thinks it’s a great conversation piece.”

Meanwhile, in the love department, sources of Jen, who has gone through a divorce with Brad Pitt and been linked to John Mayer and Gerard Butler, have said that she is looking for a man of money who isn’t in the fame business.

“Jen was left really messed up and heartbroken by John Mayer,” said a source. She wants to be set up with a wealthy businessman, not a celebrity.”

Sports Illustrated covergirl Brooklyn Decker has joined the cast of the Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman movie “Just Go with It,” coming out Valentine’s Day 2011.

The film stars Adam Sandler as a man trying woo Brooklyn, so he hires Aniston to pose as his fake estranged wife to help win Brooklyn over. Kidman’s role is supposedly cameo-esque.

We shared with you earlier this week that the title of the Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston romantic comedy “The Baster” is ripe to be changed very soon, but screenwriter Allan Loeb said audiences should still keep track of the movie from here. During his recent interview with MTV News, Allan shared that the chemistry between Jason and Jennifer is something fans of both should look forward to.

“The chemistry between them isn’t as much they’re going to rip each others’ clothes off and you want to see them go to town on each other. It’s much more ‘Harry Met Sally’,” Allan explained. “It’s much more fun. It’s a lot of good banter, if I do say so myself as I wrote it. But it’s a lot of good banter and it’s real short-hand between them.”

Allan said he drew a lot of his inspiration writing the script from “When Harry Met Sally,” which he counted as one of his favorite romantic comedies. Like the 1989 Billy Crystal/Meg Ryan classic, Allan said he felt “The Baster” sets itself apart from the other rom-coms of today.

“A lot of these movies today — romantic comedies — are ‘boy meets girl’,” he said, “and, personally, I prefer to write and prefer to see ‘boy and girl have known each other a very long time’ because you can jump into a relationship that has a history, has a short-hand and has a comfort level, which makes it really much more interesting. It’s not just everybody trying to say cute, clever things to get the other one in bed.”

The relationship between Jason’s Wally and Jennifer’s Kassie is different, he says, because they have been best friends for so long. Because of that, it leaves less time for the characters to spend getting to know one another and more time for them to figure out the intricacies of their relationship.

“They’ve been through hell together, they’ve been through life together, and that’s the scenario,” Alan said. “So it’s a best friendship that takes its twists and turns and obviously gets them to a point of romance, but through that journey you have a lot of fun of two best friends really going at each other; who know each other better than anyone else in the world. And that creates kind of a unique dynamic that you don’t see as often.
