Jennifer Aniston is best buddies with her former “Friends” co-star Courteney Cox, but it seems “The Bounty Hunter” star has caused a rift with another.
According to the Daily Mail , Aniston seems to have hurt her former on-screen lover David Schwimmer, who played Ross on the hit sitcom, after not being able to name his fiancee when David Letterman quizzed her on his late night talk show recently.
While on Letterman, the 41-year-old actress announced that Schwimmer “just got engaged!”
But when prompted, AccessHollywood.com reports that Aniston couldn’t name his real-life Rachel – wife-to-be, Zoe Buckman, 24 – admitting: “I don’t know”.
“David was not impressed that one of his supposed friends didn’t know who he was marrying,” a source told the Mail. “He has been with Zoe for a couple of years and was offended Jen couldn’t remember her.”
It seems Aniston’s busy lifestyle has kept her from keeping up-to-date on who her former co-star is involved with and that could possibly ruin the chance of a big screen “Friends” reunion.
According to Showbiz Spy , before their reported falling out, she was open to the idea of doing a reunion movie but wasn’t convinced it would do well at the box office.
“It could work and I don’t think it would be a bad thing,” she said. “We are all so proud of the show and what we achieved. We don’t want to go and spoil that with a movie unless we know it’s right.”
But in terms of their silver screen careers since “Friends” ceased production in 2004, Aniston has been the most successful.
Aside from Aniston and Cox, the rest of the cast’s film careers – including Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry – have not been quite as lucrative.
