Jennifer Supposedly Back With John Mayer

101509 aniston Jennifer Supposedly Back With John MayerIt has been a long, windy road for Jennifer Aniston ever since she got a divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005. She’s has been around the block a few times, but now Us Weekly is reporting that it seems as though she’s finally settled down with John Mayer … again. Amidst speculation, perhaps Jen decided she had been burnt one too many times.

Their relationship originally started in April 2008 and they split twice, finally ending their one year rapport in March 2009. Jen then spent all summer reportedly being wooed by Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler. Gerard called the rumors that he was dating Jen — while the two made the movie “The Bounty Hunter” — “ridiculous,” adding to People that, “I’m trying to make movies, work hard and do my best. Then this kind of thing happens and people start to associate me more with that.”

But is John finally the one? Sources told Us , “He really got to her, and she’s hooked on him, she just can’t let go.” They were spotted in New York City about a month ago dining with Jen’s bestie and former “Friends” costar Courtney Cox Arquette and her husband David.

Jennifer Is The ‘Go-To-Girl’ For Advice

Jennifer Aniston says her friends go to her for advice.

The former Friends actress admits she’s the “go-to girl” when her pals are in need.

“My friends come to me in tough times for advice,” she said. “I am the go-to girl a lot but I love that. I love helping friends.

“I’ve been the recipient of great information and advice and a giver of it but when you are in need I think you have got to show up — whether it’s to celebrate or to console or whatever. I think it’s about consistency, loyalty and honesty.”

So what advice would 40-year-old Jen give 20-year-old Jen? “Enjoy life!” Aniston said. “I think we have such angst in our twenties and in out thirties even.

“And if I had felt as good at 30 as I do at 40 I would have probably enjoyed myself a lot more.”

The actress recently insisted she doesn’t need a man in her life — because she’s happy being on her own.

“I don’t think you can plan or control love,” said Brad Pitt’s ex-wife. “I think you have to just be willing to take what comes and however it comes, you know?

“I have a really great relationship with myself and that’s a lifelong process. I have a great job, a great family and great friends. I have my health and I love what I do.”

More Rumors Of Brad And Jennifer Meeting Together

Brad Pitt is said to have held a secret meeting with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston during a recent trip to New York.

The pair, who ended their five-year marriage in 2005, met up at a hotel in the city for an hour where Brad unloaded his emotional baggage, according to Grazia magazine.

The Hollywood star allegedly told Aniston about his relationship problems with Angelina Jolie, whom he hooked up with after walking out on the Friends actress.

It comes amid reports that Brad and Jennifer are in regular phone contact and – if true – their latest encounter marks their second private meeting together in the Big Apple this year.

A source told Grazia that Jennifer agreed to visit Brad in his suite at the Essex House hotel, next to Central Park.

‘She arrived at his hotel suite a matter of hours after they had spoken. Brad was unloading his emotional baggage on Jen, which isn’t exactly fair considering their history.’

But the source added: ‘She was quick to tell him she wanted no part in his break-up with Angelina.’

At first she was reported to be reluctant to meet with her former husband.

But the magazine alleges Brad got his mother Jane – who is famously still close to Jen – to persuade her to meet with him and give some advice.

It comes amid claims that his four-year relationship with Angelina has hit the rocks.

Brad lives with Jolie at their £35million Chateau Miraval home with their six children, Maddox, seven, Pax, five, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, and one-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Aniston was apparently brutally honest with Brad during their exchange, which took place the Friday before last, telling him he was being selfish and had to figure things out on his own.

Later that day Brad flew back to France with son Maddox.

Grazia reported that Angelina is keen to work out their problems, but as far as Brad is concerned it is ‘all but over’.

Some reports suggest he is planning a move to Berlin, away from his family home, where he has friends and can spend time indulging in the city’s architecture.

His reported meet-up with Jen came the day after he attended a political conference with former U.S. president Bill Clinton in New York on September 24.

Jennifer Aniston: Will Sing In Upcoming Flick!

293adaniston042409 185x300 Jennifer Aniston: Will Sing in Upcoming Flick!Jennifer Aniston is getting ready to show off her vocal chops.

I can exclusively reveal that the actress, 40, will do her own singing in The Goree Girls, her upcoming real-life drama about a group of female prisoners who form a popular radio country-and-western band in the 1940s.

“She can sing,” the movie’s director, Michael Sucsy, tells me. “And she’s going to learn how to play the Dobro [guitar].”

Aniston’s fellow inmates haven’t been cast yet. Sucsy isn’t looking to fill the roles with real-life musicians…

“These women learned to harmonize and they learned to play instruments,” Sucsy explained. “They weren’t these amazing, accomplished singers who banded together. That’s what’s interesting about it.

“It’s not just like, ‘Hey, you can play the guitar, I can play the piano, I can play the harmonica. Let’s put a band together.’ It’s like, ‘We have to get out of jail, and if we have to put a band together to do that, then that’s what we’re going to do.’ ”

Sucsy already has had some major success in working with actresses not known for their musical aptitude.

In Grey Gardens, the HBO production he directed and is up for a whopping 17 Emmys next month, Jessica Lange made her singing debut, performing songs like “Two for Tea” from a bed. In the real-life story, Lange plays Big Edie Beale alongside Drew Barrymore as her daughter, Little Edie, relatives of Jackie O who lived as recluses in a filthy falling-down East Hampton mansion.

According to Sucsy, at their first meeting, “Jessica said, ‘I don’t sing, but I want to try. If it doesn’t work then dub me, but I want to give it a shot.’ We did have someone else record the tracks just as a backup [just] so she knew she had a net.”

Barrymore went so far into her role that she went into seclusion and lived like Little Edie for months leading up to the start of filming.

Sucsy first saw the transformation when they rehearsed at the real Grey Gardens site. “Drew comes down the stairs with a towel wrapped around her head and a piece of jewelry on it,” he said. “She’s got the walk down and it’s the first time I’ve heard the accent…[I called] her Edie for the next six months.”

Lange and Barrymore are both up for the Emmy for Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie.

But don’t bother asking Sucsy who he’s rooting for. He’s ineligible to vote because he didn’t become a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences until last week.

“I’m off the hook there,” he laughed. “I think it was divine intervention.”
