Shoulder pads, lace gloves, ripped jeans…the ’80s are so totally returning this year.
But that doesn’t mean we’re welcoming them back.
Jennifer Aniston’s, Britney Spears’ and Ashley Tisdale’s destroyed denim is giving us scary flashbacks to all the tacky glory the neon decade had to offer. The rips might’ve worked back then, but now these ladies just look like they’re slumming it in Beverly Hills.
So we hope they stop with the schlubby-looking, holey jeans—toss ‘em in the trash, where it looks like you found them, ladies!—before this trend catches on.
